Overview

The CyberDeck 2077 is a functional, high-fidelity 'hacking' terminal prop built specifically for a cyberpunk-themed short film production. It combines authentic retro-tech aesthetics with modern embedded systems to provide realistic on-screen interactions for actors.

Design Philosophy

The goal was to move away from "fake" computer interfaces in film. We wanted a device that actually ran the software shown on screen, allowing for natural lighting and tactile feedback that traditional post-production can't replicate.

Key Features

• Hot-swappable Switches: Uses Kailh Box Navy switches for that thick, clicky feedback.
• Heads-Up Display: A secondary OLED strip displays system stats (CPU, RAM, Battery) in real-time.
• Expansion Port: Exposed GPIO header for connecting external modules and sensors on the fly.
